As soon as he thought to look for them, the signs were obvious, and they were everywhere. The phone, the television… Everything down to the décor and the style of Kim’s hair. The world had gone smoother, smaller, more austere. The angles had been replaced by curves. The colors were muted. The frills were gone, and the exaggerated flowers.
It was a new decade, fast approaching a new millennium. Suddenly, when he tried to picture Mara, he couldn’t. She would be ten years older, ten years smarter. She would like things he had never heard of. She would be ten years used to thinking of him as dead, if she even thought of him at all, any more. Physically, she would be older than him, now. She might be married. She might have moved out of Abilene, like she sometimes said she wanted to. She might have died young of cancer, like her grandfather and both of her aunts had. She might be gone.

The Phelps loathed gays! The gay population!
Now, please don’t ask why. There is just speculation.
He might have seen them as a social deviance.
It could be he had a gay experience.
But I think that the most likely reason of all
May have been that bitter hate had consumed him all.

But,
Whatever the reason,
The past or his hate,
He stood in his Kansas home, very irate.
Staring down from his sofa, with a sour, Phelps glare
At the love and tolerance that lighted the air.
For he knew every person in the country there

A dAgroup is known by the quality of art it produces and the participation of its members! :meow:
And I'm glad to say that all are blessed to be in a group that's a "GROUP" in the real sense.We all share our work enthusiastically, we all comment and critique other's work and we all converse with each other as a group. I would like to give a big shootout to ~Vanessa-J-Thompson , :devgreentank , *overclouded , ~knytcrawlr and =retroboy78 for their overwhelming participation in the group and to others who have been in greenroom and still participating in the group fervently without getting noticed to us.

We have come very far, from about 30 members we have grown to about 500 and still more coming! But thats not what really matters.... because the real growth should be in our skills , quality of art and attitude towards art. And I'm glad to say that we have grown a lot.

The change is clearly visible in the gallery submission and if you'll check the very first submission of each member and compare it with the latest one ...u'll see it for yourself.

And lets keep on growing... Lets make the next DD or lets win a contest...lets work for getting the glamorous future we dream for ourselves..and friends remember that nothing in impossible and a person tends to lose his faith and interest in achieving his/her goal when it is nearest to him/her!! Lets not lose our enthusiasm at that time!!

I want everyone to get ready to improve..... I want everyone to get hungry for some badass critiques to view their art and tell them what is wrong with it...
and I would be so much glad if someone from OUR group wins some contest..
I want everyone to search for a contest and get their entries enrolled...and win IT!! Or atleast improve upon their skills with some hardwork...because the real "MORE" is not more pageviews or watchers but it is more skills and more creativity...and you all must know that pageviews and watchers is just an outcome of good work!!
So lets get ourselves started....for we all know that "WE DESERVE MORE" :D
